(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In Orangi Town, a former Shia sub-inspector was shot dead while his son suffered bullet wounds as unidentified armed men attacked them in Bangla Bazaar.Mohammed Bux Jatoi, 62, and Mohammed Kashif had left their home on a motorcycle when two assailants on a motorcycle came across and fired a volley of bullets at them before fleeing, Pakistan Bazaar police said.The victims were taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Jatoi succumbed to his wounds while his son was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. The deceased was shot five times in the upper torso with a 9mm pistol. The empties found at the spot have been sent for forensic tests.Jatoi lived in the Bangla Bazaar police headquarters and had retired from service two years when he was posted at Orangi Division’s Lalazaar check post. He leaves behind a widow and two children.Investigators have termed the murder of the former cop a part of ongoing Shia killings. A case has been reported and investigations are under way.Also terrorists of Sipah-e-Sahaba shot martyred another Shia Muslim in the district west of Karachi raising the death toll to 2 on Monday evening.They killed Mushtaq Hussain in Mominabad Orangi Town. The body of martyr was being taken to a government hospital for postmortem./129
